How we handle your information

What this site collects

Virelo Finds is a static website. We don't run user accounts, and we don't collect payment or personal identity information directly — all purchases happen on the retailer's own site, not here. The information we do handle falls into a few categories:

• Contact and newsletter forms. If you submit the contact form or subscribe to email updates, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide, solely to respond to you or send the emails you signed up for.
• Basic site analytics. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Netlify) may log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and performance purposes.
• Affiliate tracking links. When you click a "View Deal" link, you're redirected through an affiliate tracking link (e.g., AliExpress's). That retailer's own tracking and privacy practices apply once you land on their site — see their privacy policy for details on what they collect.

Cookies

This site uses your browser's local session storage (not third-party tracking cookies) for two things: remembering that you've already seen the pricing disclaimer during your visit, and keeping you logged into the admin dashboard if you're the site owner. Neither is used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Third parties

We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy practices:

• Netlify — hosting, form submissions, and basic traffic logs.
• Affiliate networks (currently AliExpress, with more planned) — track purchases made after you click through from this site, for commission purposes.

Your choices

You can browse this site without submitting the contact form or newsletter signup — neither is required to view deals. If you've subscribed to the newsletter and want to stop receiving emails, contact us via the contact page and we'll remove you.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for example, as we add new retail partners or features — we'll update the date at the top of this page.
